Default Savings - quick advice needed please

Which is a reasonable bank to use where I can put a lump sum in as a savings account but draw down a regular monthly sum, ideally by direct debit please?

Rates are s,hit I know so not that bothered about the odd quarter per cent by going to a particular bank. This for non-taxpayer so need to be able to be paid gross.

So just a couple of suggestions needed and not loads of links to money.com or comparison sites. Haven't got time to wade through.

Cheers, David

Martin Lewis is your man for this sort of stuff:

Banking & Savings: Top Bank Accounts, Savings Accounts, Fixed Savings, Cash ISAs, Regular Savers & more

And if you haven't got time to go to a few comparison sites then why should we on your behalf The best place to start is at the link above. Good luck.

Thanks........

I am not expecting you to wade through comparison sites.

I hoped that someone might just say "I use HSBC (or whoever) and they offer a reasonable rate and yes, will do a monthly direct debit for you" Seems a reasonable request!!
