Same here, its clear that girl is talented and those two couldn't sing their way out of a karaoke bar... shocking telly. Sadly I'm forced to watch this if I want Die Hard 4 on later

I think Simon is playing to the public? He realised that calling them got thm more votes? So he is now giving them compliments which in turn will get people bored voting against Simon?

Simon put it to the public vote because he knew it was controversial and knew that there was a strong chance Lucy would go out. He did this because he knew that people would be aggreived and that threads like this would be created all over the net. The result is that more people than ever are talking about the show and as such more people are likely to tune in next week. It was 100% a revenue stream move that he pulled.

My problem with it is that the show is about people's hopes and dreams. That little girl has sung her guts out and done well every single week and now she'll never become anything by going out at this stage. Simon is rich as fvck and yet he chose extra cash generated from a few more viewers next week than protecting the integrity of the show or safeguarding the opportunities of the truely talented contestants.

As far as I'm concerned he should be shot.

Serious question, what is so wrong with Robbie Williams?

I am no great fan of his music, but to me he seems like a great performer on stage.

 

However much you complain the twins will have some kind of career in showbiz after x factor Lucy probably will not. The twins have people interested and a few comedy singles will follow next year. They will either end up like Ant and Dec or sell a bucket of singles to 13 year old girls then vanish without a trace.
Louis Walsh does know a thing or two about pop and he picked them on the basis of what he could sell to the public.
