E petition asking PM to step down
Signed this a while back and just got the kind of bullsh!t response i expected
Wednesday 4 November 2009 please-go - epetition response
We received a petition asking:
• Petitions homepage
Read the Government’s response
The Prime Minister is completely focussed on restoring the economy, getting people back to work and improving standards in public services. As the Prime Minister has consistently said, he is determined to build a stronger, fairer, better Britain for all.
and thats it!

We received a petition asking:
“We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to resign.”
Details of Petition:
“There are many reasons why we might want Brown to resign, but rather than having lots of narrow petitions on this topic (most of which have been rejected), I wanted one for all of us.”

Was about to post this but you beat me to it ....
The response doesn't say he won't resign though. As usual he doesn't actually address the issue being raised. He should have just said 'No, I won't'. Though the preferable response would have been 'Ok then. As soon as I've packed my bags me n Sara will be out of No. 10' ......

yup, Thought it would have been more than 72,000 though, but as long as he's focussed on restoring the economy, getting people back to work and improving standards in public services. As the Prime Minister has consistently said, he is determined to build a stronger, fairer, better Britain for all. then we have nothing to worry about
