I'm putting together a business plan over the next couple of weeks for my wife and although I've got all the details from the bank as to what they are looking for, I'm not entirely sure where to start.

I've got a Q&A from Barclays that provides a framework as to the verbal contents and have forecasts and financial spreadsheets as to our own finances (so we stack up to the loan).

Had a look on the net and these guys have off the shelf plans that you can add your own details to. I thought I would purchase the one that suits us and then I could fiddle around with it to suit but then I don't want to pay £30 and it be rubbish.

The Barclays one is quite good. Just answer all the questions and you basically have your business plan, just add cash flow forecast and capital costs ect.
