I`m after some ringtones for my phone, music like oasis, sport and tv themes etc.

I downloaded a couple of ring tones from that site but it doesn`t seem to give you the full song, it was just a bit of the track in the middle.

So buy or download the music from somewhere like Limewire.

Always amuzes/annoys me when people use full songs as ringtones. The idea is to answer the friggin phone, not dance around cos it sounds good that someone is calling you. lol

 

thats why i edit the songs myself for the best bit for the ringtone

 

lol I make ringtones as annoying as possible so I a/ notice it, and b/ answer it.
I do however put my favorite songs on the phone to listen to when I want to.

Guy I work with annoys the hell out of me, sits there listening to his phone ring. I think thats whats done my head in.

 

I believe that if the song's sung by the original artist, they can only offer so many seconds before having to pay royalties.

As above, get the whole song (by whatever means you feel safe with) and edit it at the point and for the length you desire.

Something like Audacity, or MP3DirectCut (my choice) does the job.
