Default Buying stainless washers.

I'd like some large stainless M6 washers, bigger than a standard washer, but NOT penny washers which are 25mm across, something in between, about 10-15mm.

Anyone know of anywhere? TIA

Don't know where to get them unless a boat chandler might be able to help. They won't be cheap!

Between 10mm and 15mm dia, you may just squeeze in with that one, but a little on the small side.

This is the site, now bookmarked, DIN washers 18mm diameter, now ordered, thanks Dave. (I should have MEASURED the original, it was 16mm).

They aslo do stainless jubilee type clips for when my engine finally gets rebuilt, plus stainless cotter pins for the brake pads etc etc.

Scoobynet comes through again.

Thanks to all who replied.

You have bought something out of the tolerance you specified...

Yes, you are right, but I've edited my post above: I guessed the size of the old washersat around 10mm, and when I MEASURED them they were 16mm, so 18 will do.

I've since found ANOTHER site by Googling stainless REPAIR washers, which I ought to have thought of myself, since I've known them as that.
Thanks.

Oh for the love of god....

Not another OCD Subaru sufferer, did you happen to look at Stevo210's engine bay the other night ?

dunx

P.S. I don't think they will fit a 2.5 block, you need pistons, honest !

Been doing this a while with mountain bikes: higher stress bolts are titanium, lower stress bolts are stainless, and NO rust
