Ill take a wild stab at the pigs history.......

Bullied since the first day of infant shool cos of the name smellie!

Has massive chip on shoulder and wants to bully back the world, but behind the safety of a police badge so this time no one can come back at them!

It feels great and they get carried away with it and end up on a charge that should see them lose their job and their badge to hide behind!

That will teach them for being ***** in the first place, i hope it all goes wrong for the pig in question and they end up bankrupt and homeless!

I bet the **** in question wouldnt even take something back to argos if they werent in uniform, the sort that wouldnt say boo to a goose, but get the uniform on and its hitler time

Or more accurately, He was there to cause trouble. He deserved a good sacking!

See YouTube - G20 Protest April2nd 09 where the "Ninja Cop" struts around (without displaying his number), and how the "trouble" was caused when a smartly dressed innocent black guy was pushed over by the police!

I dont think the cops are blameless by any stretch but as always with this type of footage why on ***** earth does the person filming stop filming the black guy with the paper when they can already see its getting heated. You have no idea what was going on there other than on the audio and also the women who got slapped then batoned was already hopping around mouthing off before you could see her.

Non of the protesters did anything wrong that day. Smash a few windows, wreck a few office buildings - we should expect that to happen and also pay for their damage.

If only the police would have let them go where they wanted to. They all would have simply walked around on the pavements and not got in anyones way.

In these scenarios it's given that PCs will retain the black epelettes, and the higher ranks of Sgt and above will often wear white epelletes to denote superiority so they can be easily identifiable in riot situations. This isn't a case of hiding numbers. If you're trying to control a crowd, you are very unlikely to be able to read collar numbers, if you have your hands full, therefore it's easier to spot epellete colour.

As for being a ninja, I can't see his samurai sword

Typical ar$e about face investigations.

PC who slaps a mong mouthy lezza get's the sack.

PC who assaults from behind a pisshead and kills him will probably get off.

Mind you at least Delroy will be able to claim he's being victimised cos he is black probably counter sue the pig force - And Win

You know, I often think of this in situations like this: YouTube - Chris Rock - How not to get your *** kicked by the police!

The behaviour of the copper in question was such that he was acting beyond his terms of reference and it may serve as a warning to others in a similar frame of mind.

Football hooligans usually attack people for no reason though, quite a few people on the day here deserved a few baton strikes, and maybe their benefits being cut. Even their freebie Oyster cars suspending to they could not get to the protest in the first place.

Exactly.... dirty soddin pigs and all that rah rah rah.
lol Maybe it would be an idea for all the police haters to club together and pay for the damage caused by their unwashed friends at the next protest, while the police put their feet up and leave the dirty ******* to it.

Maybe if some pig attacked you on your way home and killed you that would be a good thing.

I'd be complaining on your behalf

The police serve the public, sadly in many cases it seems they think its the other way round.

If you think he was on his way home, you're mad.

"Oh I'll get off home - end of a busy day. I'll just walk through the middle of this riot, amble my way infront of the police - what could possibly go wrong"

Can you class rioters as 'the public'

Interesting points. Would a sergeant normally be doing "coal face" work rather than directing other (lower ranking) officers? He certainly seemed to be enjoying the hands-on approach, yet scuttled away when things started getting messy. Typically what roles would the various ranks be performing in such a situation

I think that this is the guy, in a slightly more approachable mood

Cheers,

mb

Sgt ranks are supervision. They will be in charge of a serial (normally 1 sgt to 10 Pc's). In a situation such as this you may have numerous serials deployed - hence the sgts need to be at the front to direct their crew

I've got mixed feelings about cases like this.

Sometimes I think ******* deserve (and should get) the occasional slap from the police.

However, when a coppers ability to judge the right time and place to give a slap is lacking, the problems start.

I just wish there was a cameraman around when a copper (a Sgt funnily enough) decided to rough up my mother (whom he had already handcuffed).

Oh well done, I hope you feel better after saying that.

I would not be in the middle of a riot, surrounded by the great unwashed. So its pretty unlikely. Sorry to disappoint you.

At least we know which side you would be on at the next washed v unwashed eh.

I'm all for rioters getting shot my friend.

But Tomlinson looked like he was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time and some coward attacked him twice from behind.
