I've had it since April (Thomson box) Takes a wee while to get used to it but overall it's loads better than the old EPG. A bit slow at times, though and some things that you think "WHYYYYY?!?!"

From the amount of complaints I've seen over in the Digital Spy website over the new EPG, I'm quite happy to wait so they can iron things out.
As already mentioned, new EPG has nothing to do with new viewing card and the update comes over the air, not the phoneline.
Dave.

Its not that brilliant. ITV HD is ok for the footy but even that is limited and you cant even use the standard Sky+ features like live pause, record etc.

I like the look of the 'new' epg but the biggest thing that niggles me is that if you're recording two things you get the sound of one of them. The old Sky+ box used to mute it which works much better than listening to something you're recording (or having to mute the tv).
My biggest and almost constant bugbear though is the reliability of the boxes. I'm on my second HD box (both are Thompson), this ones now saying on a daily basis 'no satalite signal recieved' I'm constantly having to reboot it. I'm loathed to phone up customer 'support' again as you basically have to jump backwards through tiny hoops to get Sky to admit there might be something wrong with the actual box.
I'm very anti Sky at the moment, rather than send me a MAC code to port my broadband to a different ISP, because Sky's service was rubbish in the evening and weekends (non LLU exchange here), they just cut me off.

I have sky broadband and am relatively happy thus far (had it since late last year)
Speeds aren't great, but I'm not a big download anyway.
So for £5 per month I think its alright.
Bigsinky - how many sky boxes do you have?
8 feed lnb - you must live in a mansion big boy

I like the new EPG and whilst using the older version on my Sky+ box it seems a bit backwards now. Tis good stuff! On the HD box reliability I'm on my second Samsung box and its now becoming very dodgy whilst recording HD programming as the sound can be a bit skiwiff!
I hate Sky by the way the *******s owe me just under a 1000quid
