Talking

I've been heard from a number of diffrent people that using jump leads on modern cars are a no no.

They supposedly affect the engine management system.

Can anyone help me to put this matter to bed.

Cheers,

Beakie

They worked fine on my Scoob the other week. No noticiable problems with the running after it was started.

Definitely don't bump start it though - from memory this can cause fuel contamination of the exhaust cats and can damage them
