I suggest if your staff wish to slag off your customers via email, they DONT do it whist copying the said client in on it.

Just got an email from a company dealing with my holiday medical insurance claim. The company chasing up the payment have been brilliant, but the insurers less so.

Unfortunatly, when the company mailed the insurers recently, it set off a chain of internal emails within IG, one of which was batted back by a member of staff blatently suggesting I was not bothering to try and deal with it, and maybe I should just be invoiced directly. (sorta teach me a lesson)

Sadly for the dumb member of staff, I was copied in on the email, once the reply was issued to the pursuing company.

So the lesson here is, remember to check who is CC'ed before hitting enter!
