Check your charges- ours are usually about £200 a quarter.

As we have been overdrawn on 18 occassions in the last three months (we don't have an overdraft facility) we've been charged £1950!!!!.

Just going back through the statements now and there's nothing different from any other quarter.

I'm absolutely gobsmacked- we can't stand a 1000% increase in bank charges ffs!!

Hmm, I have two from when I was contracting, one is overdrawn as they took 30 quid out for a credit car annual fee, I rang them as I had cancelled the card and they agreed to remove it, never did so now its acruing interest, need to do my usual and threaten to take my overdraft elsewhere which is what I suggest you do, play blue murder and threaten to go to another bank .

We don't have an overdraft- and I don't want / need one either, just occassionally go overdrawn for a couple of days, never over £1000 (as the bank bounce anything that would take it over that and charge £35)
