Just read this in the daily mail.
90 - yes NINETY people arrested and its barely reported on.
Quoting from the daily mail - one woman said " we suddenly saw what seemed to be 200 asian men running down the street throwing bricks".
apparantly they were fighting against the english defence league what ever that is??
This was in a busy shopping area of birmingham in the middle of the day.
All that fuss about the west ham v millwall trouble and nothing about this.
It seems when its anything to do with race it has to be kept quiet.

A bit like the Hull Daily Mail, which entered an agreement with Humberside Police, not to publish anything about Eastern European immigrants disobeying laws etc, for fear of inciting the indiginous population.
Or when two rival gangs fought pitched battles on the sreets here, Iraquis and Asians, over whether Iraquis were "allowed" to chat up Asian girls.........The police "invited the leaders for coffee to discuss what happened, no arrests were made".
Now imagine the arrests that WOULD be made were it WHITE lads violently stopping ASIANS from chatting up white girls?

Thinking logically at this time of the night, I think part of the reason is to not create another Oldham etc, why dramatise and sensationalise something (as if the media ****** would do such a thing) when you know it could be the spark people need to start rampaging.
There is a disturbing current in society right now, a result of all the frustration and lost dreams from both sides of the black & white fence.
There is an underbelly of violence just waiting to erupt and the catalyst could well be all the tension that is building up with job losses, a failed government, the flood gate of immigrants scavenging off an already strained system and the massive witch hunt of anyone who resembles an "ooga booga bad guy" and you have the making for some serious civil unrest.
The less it is publicised the better even if you have some PC a*rse kissing going on.

Yes they have and agree with a lot of the comments above.
However, do not fear, we will eventually be in the minority and kicked out of the UK

English Defence League | EDL | Demonstration Details for Birmingham on 5th September 2009
I look forward to a peaceful demonstration against Islamic Extremism!
Yours,
Trevor.
http://www.englishdefenceleague.org/...am-080809.html
These are disturbing times for democracy and "freedom of speech" as the UAF (united Against Fascism) organisation sparked violent clashes between members of the public, and anyone they deemed to be involved with the English Defence League, who they have branded 'A racist group of thugs organised by the BNP'.
We at the EDL had planned a peaceful demonstration against Islamic Fundamentalists in Birmingham on the 8th August, but the UAF turned up and occupied the position in which our demonstration was planned to be held

TBH i hadn't heard of them before.
The UAF on the other hand are another violent extremist organisation who are best steered clear of - IMHO more dangerous that the BNP more akin with combat19's extremist views and approach just a massoive left wing slant on them more Joe Stalin than Ade Hitler

We've been receiving intelligence on this at work. It also appears that one new group is trying to recruit the football thugs to unite in one cause of standing up to Islamic fundamentalism instead of just twatting each other at football matches.

That exact scene was predicted at the start of the year, when the weather forecasts were for a BBQ summer - add hot weather and alcohol, lot's of people with nothing to do but drown their sorrows, to your scenario and it's easy to understand why things could go boom.
Anyone, even whites, can be victims of hate crimes. It's simply down the victim or any witness to say it was down to the colour of their skin/faith/sexualiyu/disability etc and the court is forced to see this as a more serious matter. So, no, the same rule applies, a hetero sexual white male can say he was the victim of crime due to those factors. It just depends if he (or anyone else) think that they are contributory factors.

Hooligan mentality, exists on both sides of the fence and I have seen the results first hand.
These people simply get involved to create a chaotic situation or exasperate an already heated situation.
But this mentality is not just unique to football thugs, gangs and criminals, you get nut jobs in all kinds of places like the groups going around proclaiming they are marching for peace, the environment or some other ****.
But in reality they are inciting more hatred and violence, even tree huggers and animal lovers are just the same brand of hooligan jobbies.
But seriously if something does happen it will happen very suddenly and at an unexpected time - I am amazed there hasn't been any serious religous and ethnic related violence so far (and I hope it does simmer away with the cold weather).

The last one that I know, apart from the EDL meet, where violence was expected was the Red, White and Blue rally in Derbyshire, but I can't recall who organised that gathering.
The political extremists often have secret meetings, normally involving heavy metal concerts for some reason, where you can only attend by invite, and at locations where you are driven to after having your mobile phone confiscated and you are subjected to a search. This tends to keep extremists from both end of the spectrum apart.
As for the cold weather, hopefully this won't see people being unable to afford to heat their homes in winter and turning to violence in frustration.
