That reviewer is a bit of a pseud, though. "Lucubrate"? That's a sixth-form word if ever I heard one. Then again, I love the wonderfully ironic word "decerebrate": a word which is not understandable by the very people it describes.

Les, if you have never seen a Jonathan Meades programme (shame on you.. ) you really should watch these. Every one is an education.

Check out Meades Shrine on Youtube for the complete back catalogue.
