The worst smell ever?

The worst smell ever?
I opened my tall green bin with a lid at the weekend and nearly fell over from the stench. It was like hot putrid vomit and diarrhea blasting me in the face.
Then i saw the maggots
My boyfriend had to wash the bin out after it was emptied and all i could do was heave. How the hell do the refuse blokes cope with the smell and maggots?
I have stopped putting food in the bin now and eiuther flush it down the loo or squidge it down the sink.

Wash downstairs more often
I think the refuse blokes where on the worlds worst jobs program once, it was the sorting place where they take all the rubbish and throw it onto tables and sift through it all with their hands picking out bits n pieces etc to sort it all
They do wear gloves and masks

Nonononono the smelliest thing in the world was the farts a bloke in the pub was dropping last night while playing poker. It was horrific but must have worked in his favour as he won

Our lot recommend wrapping loose foodstuffs in newspaper to reduce likelihood of stench/flies/maggots etc.

Won't your chickens munch up your waste food then, ours always used to. On the other hand you could always seal the food up in bags so the flies can't get at it. Keeps the bin cleaner too!
