Stag Do......
Having never been on one before, and now being the best man at my mates wedding, his GF has told me I have to organise everything! Which to be honest, I don't mind, but for one thing..........he's a boring ****e, who can't/won't fly anywhere!!
Think he'd be happy going out round Whitby (where we live), but it's boring as ****, and not really a stag do as such.
I was thinking of renting a canal boat somewhere perhaps for 10 of us, and just **** about on the canals for a long weekend or something.
Ideally I'd like to go to Prague, but again, he won't fly. So any other weekend ideas? Wouldn't mind it being a bit different, but don't think there is much choice really.
Cheers

We're always at York, as it's so close anyway.
Thing is, places like Newcastle you can't really spend a weekend there to be honest. Maybe blackpool we could do friday and saturday!

my only advice is avoid the football weekends (home games) theres twice as many blokes to women, its good for a no frills weekend, pleasure beach, paint balling, gocarts,
strip joints and brothels ...if your into that sort of thing

Mate of mine had a stag do and his best man arranged for us all to go to the horse racing for a day. When I was best man for a mtes wedding, due to him also being boring etc... arranged for a night out one wekend to start with 10 pin bowling, a meal out with the lads and then hitting the clubs. All with a lot of drinks along the way the worst bit was the speech at the wedding, which I ended up having to write the grooms as well as he hadn't a clue

We're not going over seas.
Cheers for the suggestions! Horses sounds good. Or maybe the dogs perhaps, as I heard at sunderland there is a good place, with a hotel etc?

I can honestly say that 10 lads on a beer fueled weekend, on a narrow boat.......... with a chemical toilet is not really going to work!
I would go to Blackpool and just have a massive **** up for the weekend.
I did it for a hen weekend and it was class! We stayed i9n an absolute crap hole though. It was freezing up on the third floor and I ended up sleeping with my mate for two nights. We stayed down stairs smoking weed until the early hours with the 'owners' as there was a fire, and a cheap bar.
We then went in the haunted house the following mornig... Big mistake!
A hang over and and paranoia hanging over our heads didn't mix well with what we witnessed!
The whole weekend was wicked though!
