Apparently he has gone in for an operation down there!
I am guessing it is an a***hole transplant.

Max Hastings wrote a very incisive piece about Mandelson in The Guardian (31.01.04). Mandelson had called him personally as a friend and asked him to call off a couple of Evening Standard hacks who were probing the now infamous house purchase. "It really is nonsense. There's no story... I'm buying the house with family money," he assured Hastings. Hastings took Mandelson at his word as a friend, dismissed the objections of the reporters, and the investigation was shelved. A few months later the truth was outed by other papers.
Max Hastings felt terribly let down and never ever trusted a word he has subsequently said, and was amazed any one else did.
