Default Double Clubcard Points at Tesco

Double Clubcard Points at Tesco

Limits to how much you can use them for certain places now:-

From 1st September 2009, the maximum value of rewards tokens you can use on Virgin Holidays is £700 PER PASSENGER.
Apparently, as soon as you try and book a holiday, the cost also shoots up as soon as you mention Clubcard.

This is a good offer, in my opinion. I just got my rewards vouchers through, and it's £15 worth. As i understand it, if i take them to the Customer Services desk and "elect" to spend them in the wine department, they're then worth £30 there, which is better than a kick in the goolies. And if they're now issuing double points, that will be worth even more next time, assuming the double-up scheme isn't abandoned in the meantime.

We were saving ours for a holiday next year so the new limits on the redemption are disappointing.

This year, we've used them for a trip to Legoland, my wife's RAC cover and half the cost of a trip to Disneyland Paris via Airmiles!

£700 per passenger isn't too bad....

I've had a couple of close to free holidays courtesy of Tescos - I use the Tescos credit card pretty heavily and can run up £500/year in vouchers - they are valid for a couple of years and then worth 4 times a s much on some deals - so save them for 2 years and it's a £4k holiday

There's still a few of us left

I can even remember life before Scoobynet when it was all done by email - a few less threads back then though

I'm a Jul 2000.

Is this thread for 9 years or older members only?

I normally get between 300 and 400 per year due to the amount of fuel I buy as well as using the Tesco credit card.
