Why didnt he stop? Yes he was in a race but if he'd have crashed into a person he would have stopped
They must have known horses were wandering round before they built the track
I really cannot see the point of rally motor sport.
It's not sport.
It's the best prepared, and therefore the best funded car, that achieves the win. Helped by a competent driver.
Racing around the peaceful countryside wasting fuel seems utterly pointless to me.
Also it sets a bad example to young drivers who think it is cool to emulate their driving heroes by speeding around busy urban streets.
How many young drivers and their passengers have crashed through speeding and losing control this year?
Crazy world

well that just about sums up his character doesn't it! heartless coldblooded and totally ARROGANT! what a nasty vile specimen of a human being. i am so mad i could spit! but he finished his race and was placed i presume! so that's all right then ! the fact that he slaughtered a wild horse is by the by!
I'm so angry, I hate these 'sports' there is certinaly no talent or skill involved.

Jesus, they are unreal, don't think all rallies are going to stop because the odd animal gets hit, motorsport is pointless, yes, probably but its fun, people enjoy it but what really gets on my crack is the complete hypocricy regarding animals, all the people on that thread probably drive a car, every time you get behind the wheel you could potentially hit an animal that strays into the road, no different in this circumstance, just faster and a bigger animal.

I dont like to see anything hurt but wishing that the driver dies for the sake of a horse is mental, its always young birds as well, always worried about ickle fluffy things, wise up ladies, the world isnt ickle and fluffy, just because you cant rationalise and accept that things are born and then subsequently die, sometimes violently dont take it out on the rest of us, one horse getting hit by a rally car is a drop in the ocean, go over to some less developed countries and witness the massive scale of cruelty that needs sorting out before getting excited about one accident.

Did Colin Macrae stop in the NZ rally after he hit that photographer and sent him flying through the air??? No he continued and the photographer admited he was stupid for being in the way in the first place.

Did anyone else notice that at least 75% of the comments in that article were made by women?

Maybe they should ban the sport, afterall it is not a sport according to one of the comments, therefore no ickly aminals will get hurt and no boy racers will be inticed to zoom round urban streets trying to mimic these talentless, no skill needed rally drivers!!!

The video clip from outside looks like he hit some toy rocking horse the way it flipped up and the legs stayed straight.

I love the following joke, shamelessly plagiarised from Have I got News For you.

What is a Daily Mail readers worst nightmare?

To find out that homosexuals are the natural predators of asylum seekers.

ok, who's Ed in Wales?

Thats what happens when you drive a Mitsubishi EVO.

If he'd been driving a Subaru Impreza, he would have hit all 3.

Impreza FTW every time!

I decimated an ants nest the other day on a bycicle, felt so bad I had to stop and cry, a few others saw the incident and joined in the gnashing of teeth and wailing. It was horrific.
