Found a small ding (about 1 inch) in the door of my new BMW. I want to get it sorted to prevent and rust etc. What are Chips Away like for finish and quality on the repairs?

 

All I know is the guy I have used is excellent ........ but they are all franchises so it depends on the guy you guet I suppose.

Not sure a bouts dents though, I use a different company for that. Dent Technique

there a franchise, so some good some bad.

i used a guy in nottingham, fantastic job he did to, my old vauxhall astra with black metalic paint and the bits he did i couldn't see after. took a dent (my sister opened my dads car door into mine , the cow! ) out and got rid of some scuffs and a few little bits here and there.

 

I scraped my Subaru and got Chips Away in Woking to sort it, looked as new afterwards plus you get a guarantee (12 months I think). But, a few months after I noticed it had started to get that orange peel effect.

Was going to take it back, but the car got stolen.

You should be ok, just make sure you get a guarantee.

 

Thanks for the replies. I guess it's more of a paint chip than a dent. I guess with Chips Away you do take the risk of getting someone of unknown ability unless you can get a recommendation from someone who's had the same person before.

I live near Nottingham, so Little Knocks is too far, but thanks for the info anyway.

sorry mate no ,was about 6/7 years ago. name of the only guy in the area is martin but dont remember that name im afraid, was an older guy so may have retired.
