It has to be said wtf was the husband doing during all this?
Had that been my other half and kids and I was stood there then atleast one of these little b4stards would have had a fork rammed in his eyes and or throat.

Anticipating that someone is about to chuck some bleach about would be difficult... I don't expect they could come at you saying 'get ready for the bleach!' they would just walk up in a stealthy manner and let you have it.
They certainly are scum and should be removed painfully from the gene pool, but I can see them getting away with it tbh

I know what you're saying, but you know what it's like...if you saw the same people you'd had a bit of an arguement with earlier walking into somewhere that they'd obviously followed you to, you would know what was going on.
Obviously with something like bleach involved my first thoughts would be to my girlfriend to get it off her as quickly as possible. But if someone had hit her etc and there was nothing I could do to help her my immediate thoughts would be to get the f*ckers responsible. The possibility of going to prison wouldn't enter my head at any point!

First thing is any place you get into an argument with someone or a group of people is don't hang around speacially if it's with your family,when you can,get out and leave.Just be carefull your not being followed back to your home.Now this will p1ss some people off because it's like your giving in and saying well why should i do that im out with the family and asked some rowdy kids to be quiet..Well this typical example is the kind of country we are living in,until these ******* are given a taste back of what they do to other people it will go on.

Just put it about that there is a couple of grand for one of thm delivered intact, scum is loyal until money is involved, don't hurt them but learn everything about them, every detail so they can't dissapear, then at a time in the future of my choosing when I am a long way away they get what's coming.
No sense in getting yourself put in prison in a revenge attack now is there, your missus has already been bleached, you going away won't help now will it.

I'm not surprised no one tried to stop them what with everyone thinking that youths do nothing but roam around in gangs carrying knives and guns. And even if you did managed to stop one of them, what are the chances of you being brought up on assault charges. This is that sad state of affairs that some parts of society is in.

Give the guy a break, its a difficult situation to be in. You and the family are sat down tucking into the food, everyone happy and perhaps just enjoying the moment and 15 minutes later not noticing 2 youths coming in. They pour bleach over your other half and they run out of the restaurant before you've even moved to get out of your seat. Are you really gonna run out of the restaurant after the youths and leave your wife is screaming in agony and your kids shocked at whats happened crying and screaming? My immediate reaction would be to do whatever I can to wash the bleach off and stop it burning my wife and checking the kids are okay too.
