Isn't it ironic
that based on various posts here that Scoobynetters find Man-love abhorrent and yet a good looking girl who takes it in the tradesman's is a trophy indeed and her partner a hero?

I don't find it abhorrent, the difference is clearly there are no wobbly bits (er, or not quite so wobbly at the time I would imagine) getting in the way when engaging in that particular thing with a girl.

I think the point is not the orifice in question but what its attached to as straight men want to see a woman involved somewhere as thats what pushes our buttons but I can see your point, I think most blokes express loud revulsion to same sex male relationships (but not female ones, funnily, unless they are big lessy mingers that smoke pipes) to distance themselves from it as it is still considered un-manly, shameful or whatever. I personally don't understand why people get funny about about it, its not like they cause anyone any problem or the population is dwindling because everyone is too busy bumming to procreate. I dont find gay stuff revolting, its just not my preference, you learn heterosexual people get up to some pretty unpleasant acts if you surf the internet long enough.

I agree, but would add that when it comes to having a partner it is not JUST about the sex and based on the physical side of things.
So putting the whole bumming element aside I think that spooky mulder has a point.
If I suddenly started talking about my g/f you guys would be all ears (and something else I am sure).
Yet if it were one of you guys talking about a b/f or heaven forbid you wear a necklace!!! I am sure there would be a very different reaction.
Ironic...... much ?

Men who like strolling the Bourneville Boulevard with a female partner are repressed shirt lifters. Either that or their partners have a gap like the Grand Canyon and need a bit more "feel."

spooky, I hope you are not misinterpreting my necklace thread as being in some way homophobic or anti gay?
The topic was meant tongue and cheek and for a bit of a laugh.
If I were a little serious about the topic it would be that I have a feeling that men who wear necklaces are a bit poncey/self obsessed/narcisistic, not that they are practicing homosexuals, and even if they were I have absolutley no problem with that.
Live and let live, we are all different.
I would be disappointed if my tongue in cheek thread led people to believe that I was a homophobe.
