Hmm, this looks like a good candidate for "Grand Designs"
Seriously though, looks like someone forgot to tie up the rebar properly at the foundation level....seems they made up for it once they got above ground level

This is an all to common occurance in China unfortunately
substandard building materials, poor workmanship and curruption have led to 100's of buildings collaspsing for no apparent reason over the last decade. Including schools and hospitals
I guess it's one way of keeping the population down.

Still using bamboo for scaffolding I see (nothing changed since I was last over there 13 years ago)
Seems theire news follows the same format as ours; dolled up reader; spout a load of crap; add some dumbed down crappy animations, interview a local, then repeat three times over before cutting to adverts. Must have been to the Murdoch school of media.
