Coffee tables off e-bay
Just bought one from a company called "container clearance company", the item was/is beautiful, solid oak and reasonably priced, it was in my home in three days.
I've since bought two more in a simailar style, originally they were scheduled to be 4-6 weeks, but have just had a call to say they will be delivered this friday.
If anyone else is looking for funrniture, I can recommend this company, with who I have no connection other than as a satisfied customer.

You will be able to pick this stuff up from your local Auctioneers too, thats what these guys do by the looks of it. I go every now and again to one near me, all the surplus / seconds stock from the likes of John Lewis & M&S is sent to the auctions.
If there is one local to you, its worth popping down for a look. They are normally good for white goods too
