I think the words 'good' and 'fake' should not be used in the same sentence when talking about fine watches.
Nat is your man, what he dont know about fakes, dont need knowing.

Your dead right, but YOU will know its fake.
And I have seen excellent pieces of work, but at the end of the day, in my opinion they are not as good as the real thing.

That's about the highest level of fakery you can buy until you start modding it yourself with genuine parts.
$1200.
I've just put a dial from the same maker in a genuine head/movement that i've had fixed up after aquiring it in a ruined state and am pleased with the result. Dial from Panerai = £1000 plus which wasn't really an option i wanted to take up....

I got a decent fake Breitling in Italy a few years back, and flogged on it ebay and got far more for it than expected! Bought a few more last year with the plan of doing the same and making a tidy profit, but ebay have since clamped down on anything fake, so I've still got them! If Brietling's are your thing let me know
I've heard of people getting fake working Nintendo Wii's and ipod's and stuff from places like China and Japan!!

If he bought it five years ago it will be pretty shoddy.

Even the "real" stuff.
If they're all made at the same factory by the same people which is which?
Take Graham Diver watches - They are all built in China apart from the movements. The "fakes" are the same watches just with an Asian movement in.

Omega Planet Ocean Black 45mm Automatic Watch SS Bracelet Watches Jewellery & Watches CQout Lot # 4625995
Ive got one of these off this site, the watch in the picture is, I suspect a real one, as some of the details are different to mine. I was at a wedding recently and one the lads their had the same watch, only an original when i compared mine i could see the differences but at a glance they are very similar and to the untrained eye you wouldn't know mine was a fake.....sorry replica it has a sweeping second hand too.

RonJeramy the picture you posted of the PlanetOcean is in my opinion a FAKE.
The picture below is my real Planet Ocean, there are lots of differances on the rear, and even more on the face of the watch you posted.
The most obvious ommition is the 9 digit serial number stamped on the strap jaws of the watch, yours and the photo will not have them.
The fact that you are happy with your watch and you dont hide the fact that its fake is commendable, not met many people like you though.
