30 in about 3 weeks....
Yup, hitting 30 soon and contrary to most of my female friends (and males come to think of it), I'm actually quite looking forward to it!! My wonderful husband has bought me my first motorbike for my birthday, I'm less hung up about the silly stuff that always seem to be the biggest crisis in the world at the time but now seem so trivial! I have a wonderful family, fantastic friends and a great job that I love.
My 20's saw some of the happiest times of my life thus far (Uni, qualifying, meeting and then marrying my husband to name a few) and by far the worst times of my life (losing my father after a long 4 yr battle with cancer and my sister-in-law suddenly and unexpectedly when she was just 11 yrs old). I'm hoping that my 30's will also give me more happy memories and certainly no bad ones.
So please, share with me your memories of turning 30-how did you celebrate?! Are the 30 years better than the 20's?!

oohh im 30 on saturday and im not really looking forward to it 
im just going for a meal with my mum (we share the same birthday), sister, brother in law, nephew

Out for a meal with a load of friends, then all back to mine. Was up well into the early hours of the morning doing coke, drinking loads, and listening to tunes

How did I celebrate turning 30? No idea. I really have no recollection at all ... 
But it was a long time ago ... 48 in a couple of days ..... maybe that's why I can't remember ...

That's the thing...I'm not dreading it or feel like I have to deal with it!! I'm looking forward to it! Just interested in seeing how others felt!!

Ta for wishes! Enjoy the bike - what is it and have you passed your test? (Had a bike since I was 16 - currently about to put the engine back in a friend's Moto Morini 3 1/2 - 70's bike).
Probably did enjoy my 30s more than 20s. Mainly 'cos I knew more *stuff* and was more confident. 'Life confident' or whatever some stupid advert says .... Enjoy!!

Dave, that's how i'm hoping i'll feel about my 30's-can't stop it happening so may as well enjoy it!!
I take module one of my test this weekend
Hubby has bought me a Yamaha MT03 and i'm so excited about being able to ride it!! Fingers crossed I pass!
