Buy one get one free offers - the point in question being golden syrup cake, evil food of the devil.


I'm sat here now, larded out unable to go and put the kettle on.

Was it you that posted about the golden syrup ice cream? The first step of recovery is admitting you have a problem.

That deal meant we ended up buying a Jamaica Ginger and a Golden Syrup earlier as well!

Yes that cake is VERY tasty and moreish...

Quite agree, cake is Satan's instrument.
However two for one alcohol offers are a whole different matter

Ah,shopping at Tescos-I went for two Jamaican ginger cakes-will probably take one into work tommorrow.Whether it comes out of my bag...thats something i'll have to consider over an earl grey
