I dont usually visit the muppet forum...
But I have just peeked in after reading the "I hate the Police thread" and Torbo-hot mentioning its demise.....and WoW....8 threads in two weeks.
The place used to be buzzing with threads, a bit clicky for my liking, but what the hell happened?
Where did everybody go?
I do hope they dont spill out into NSR.
Bubba and that fit bird can come over, but I dont think we have room for the rest.
Now the place is almost shut, can someone tell me what the **** is going on in that HiHo thread.....whats t all about?
Genuinely shocked Yoza

think it was mainly the exWeb to make the place tidier and look a little more polished for any prospective buyers.
shame, there used to be a really good atmos in the place, a little like a council estate social club if you like (cliquey) but non the less , good fun.
Shame really.

I have been enlightened.
I am genuinely shocked.
Everyone has gone, or almost everyone.............
I work in a big factory by the nature of the job I stay on the section I run.
I can meet someone out side of work who may say "do you know such and such, he works in your place, he has been there for 30 years".........and you wont know him, even though he may work only 200 yards from you.
Well thats how I feel about the Muppet Forum, its only next door and now its closed/dead/void and has been for ages, I didnt have a clue.
I feel abit emotional.

There is plenty of conspiricary over what happened in the "shake up" of the muppets section over the past couple of years (yes its been two years now ). Lets just say after jumping fences I've seen no evidence to back up or confirm anything, so as such everything is speculation.
Ultimately it caused many of the regulars to be infracted and some ended up being banned. This ill-feeling basically caused the regulars to leave and go elsewhere. This is not a new thing - it happened long long before Stu and IB came onto the scene, so they are totally blameless in this, as its something they've inherited.
TBH I've been tempted to ask the question of removing the forum, as its currently serving little purpose anymore. Either way, I feel something should be done with it.
Shame, it used to be a good laugh in its prime.

I didnt post/read at all for 18 months or so, or maybe one or two replies when I had gained the privilege for Internet access.
I have been posting again for maybe 8 months, so a lot has gone on that I didnt know about, I started posting again as deBank was leaving, when was that?

The HiHo thread is the home of a bunch of exiled Canooks who were booted off i-club for having a sense of humour our yankee cousins didn't get.
The foreruning thread - "I got in trouble at i-club" hit about 25k posts before being locked IIRC.

RE:HiHo..I see, so they just mingled with themselves, and in fact most of the muppets have fooked off somewhere else and done exactly the same.

The guys on there have kept to themselves over the years and caused a lot less aggro than the rest of us. Live and let live eh?
