i can just see them now flocking from, reims, paris lille, the dordgne,
to go to the 15 guest houes on the north shore.
seeing the sweaty socks shoe-horned into tight t-shirts and leggings.

 

I've never seen such dirty pavements as I did in Blackpool.

It's like a less downmarket Margate.

The average Frenchie would hate it I imagine. Let's hope lots of them fall for the advert then...

Blackpool is probably this ****iest place I have ever been to.

Should be napalmed and started again.

 

Well, on a more positive note, we took somew French friends to CLEETHORPES over Easter one year, and they absolutely LOVED it.

It's something to do with the French seaside being so different.

And with the weak pound, England is a good bet now.

 

Just why would the French want to go to Blackpool anyway - even if it's as nice as the film is making out? Oh yeah - Blackpool tower

 

And as for bombing Blackpool, well whenever I've been I'd enjoyed myself and the people are genuine.

 

Went a few years ago - it was the dirtiest, smelliest, sh!tiest place I have ever been.

Weather didn't help, wet & windy, Tower looked so rusty we didn't bother, the seafront was FULL of £1 shops - nice!

Stag / hen parties falling all over the place, puke & broken glass on the pavement, and a huge fire on the seafront!

Only funny thing was the fire burnt down one of the fortune tellers huts - she was okay, but she didn't see that coming!!?
