Sorry, I know it's boring. Anyone know what to look for/avoid in a life / critical illness policy?

To be fair, there really isn't anything to avoid particularly. make sure you are aware of what critical illnesses are covered and which are not. make sure you are aware of whether the policy has premium waiver (I know some include this and just dust over the reasons) and whether you want it or not.

Its a little bit like car insurance really - you pick the options you want to be covered for.
