Default How much M/sq for 'Properly Laid' Block Paving

As title really, What's a realistic price per sq/M for your usual standard blocks with a decent base laid for them?

Years ago it was about £60 so with prices being back due to all this housing crisis I would still expect that figure to be right?

I would say it should be nearer £80 ish pounds per sq metre for a decent ,lasting job with proper sub base .
Make sure you get quote for minimum 6- 8 inch of MOT stone (as used on road bases) for your base .
I would also ask to see some of their previous work ,going back over 12 months so you know it wont be sinking on you after 6 months of putting your car on it .
What area are you in ?

Sorry just seen you live in Wolves .Know someone who does it in Lancs .(no good to you though )!!

Local block paver charges £100 per sq mtr for a good quality job..... and his jobs are top notch, in fact 80% of the houses on our road have used him, including myself, and 6 years later its still as good as when first laid.
£100 / m2 gets you:
Excavate site, 250mm MOT Type 1 Sub Base and quality 80mm blocks.

Unless you get permeable bricks then you now need to get planning permission too

Not completly true Steve, speak to your council first see what they say. If the drive slopes away from the road then there is no need for permission, most are not that fussed as long as you control the water run off and dont fire it into the roads drainage system.
