Just had a long conversation with a chap from paypal to help me resolve a dispute

I bought a new MAF for my Impreza but it didn't work (Physically the same but had some extra diode thing and car wouldn't idle) so I sent it back.

I didn't get a response from the seller so I sent it recorded to the address given on their ebay page. This address turns out not to be the right one. In fairness to the seller they have provided a returns form albeit too late.

I started a dispute but didn't bother escalating it as you never seem to get anywhere.

The chap from paypal said they are ringing people with dispute to help resolve them - or fob them off I'm not quite sure. Thinking about it now I'm wondering whats in it for paypal.

Anyway, as a sorry for having a bad transaction, they've given me a £20 voucher to spend on ebay! I'm going to buy something for my scoob or my railway

They claim probably won't come to anything but I did get £20.
