Whats the rules on ebay feedback nowadays?
I bought something off ebay about 2 weeks ago on a sunday, paid by paypal straight away. Last week I emailed the seller saying I hadn't received goods, they asked me to check at the post office to see if the postman hadn't left a calling card as they had sent the previous week. I checked and there was nothing at the post office. I emailed the seller saying this and by firday had not heard back from them.
I have opened a claim with paypal which they haven't responded to yet. They have 16,469 feedback that is 100% positive in the last 12 months. So they dont seem like rip off merchants to me and I except that things can go missing in the post. However their communication has been very poor.
Can I leave negative feedback without them being able to do the same to me? I know they used to be able to but I think they may have changed rules. Is it better to wait to leave feedback until it is resolved with paypal?
Cheers,
Chop

Give them a chance, they may respond today, may be out of office, on holiday etc. There could be a good reason for their silence.
100% on that level of sales takes some getting.
