A lad I know had to buy his son £200 football boots as he wouldn't wear anything else. As soon as he left home his son was buying his own boots and paying £25 a pair.
My two, when both at home, refused POINT BLANK to shop except at Tesco/Sainsburys.
Now, one shops at Farmfoods, and the other at Lidl.
Nat moans at me all the time as she says Lidl do really good biscuits
We shop at Asda as it sells everything in one place. We tried doing the freezer shopping at Farmfoods, but for the extra time wasted negotiating Frodingham road and the extra petrol used we gave up.
Saying that we spend £80 and that lasts the pair of us 2 weeks. How some people spend £80-100 a week on 2 people suprises me
It does make me laugh when those with no real means decide they are too important and discerning to shop at certain shops, school kids who cant be seen dead in Aldi, the 14 grand a year girls at work who wouldn't be seen dead in a second hand car, has to be a brand new Mini, earn it, justify it, pay for everything else and then get on the brand bandwagon !

Thats the society we live in today sadly, the something for nothing brigade.
The govt down here have been handing out cash incentives to all tax payers, 1K up to 7k for families with kids, telling them to spend it and boost the economy, whilst putting the country in the red for the next 20 to 30 years, are they mad ??
Why do they want people to remain in the comfort zone, some harsh realities would be a better lesson imho.
