Red face Greasy Blond hair with Red Highlights - Will it catch on?

I have a wee problem: It appears I have inadvertantly cracked my head open whilst cleaning the tar off the sills on my Golf.

Now, had it looked at by a freind of mine who is a nurse and said whilst its nasty its too small for stiches, so just needs glueing and some butterfly stiches so not worth the 3 hour plus low priority wait at A&E. Its been cleaned out and glued so no longer bleeding, now awaiting for my stitches to arrive from Tesco as the chemists are shut.

Thing is I'm going out tonight, and well...my hair looks like this:

Don't click if your squemish : http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k3...c/DSC00468.jpg

Greasy, dirty, and very bloody - now I can't have a shower, because the glue will probably wash out and the cut will open up and bleed everywhere again.

Or I could shave the lot off - and probably open it up again by catching it with the clipper guards. And even then I have to find a way to clean it up and look presentable.

Or go for the riot/hooligan/pub brawler look and see if I can blend in by going to some of the more rougher pubs in town?

I'm screwed either way I think

I didn't think you'd have blonde hair.
