Default Gas heating

We have a rather old unit, 25 years or so and it's a combined water and gas central heating unit that is no longer made, anyway the british gas engineer deemed it downright dangerous and slapped lots of nice red tags on it and capped off the mains supply.

My question is what system would be good for a 2 bedroom semi bungalow, we have one radiator in the bathroom but ine in the fron room and main bedroom would be ideal, don't really need one in the other rooms.

Any suggestions on overall cost and what would be a nice reliable and cheap to run unit would be great.

Yeah after speaking to a few seems like it's the only option as it's pretty much the only systems that's done nowadays, we have just about one area in the kitchen where we can stick it, would be easier there as a hole can be made easily for the flue to vent, bit of hassle though.

We have bee told our system is very expensive to run compared to systems of today.
