I'm just about to open an online share trading account. Should I open an ISA account or just a standard share dealing account? I'm thinking ISA for the tax relief but is the any difference?

No idea about tax relief, but I've been using the Halifax share dealer as it's nice and simple to understand and it works ok for me.

ISA is tax efficient if thats an issue, delaing in certain equities also have tax efficient benefits.

With regard to investing TD Waterhouse are a good service.
For trading use CFDs and other derivatives as more economical and efficient!
