Default One of the reasons I love Scotland so much

Taken on my Nokia N95 so apologies for the picture quality - I almost crashed when I came across this view

if you were to show someone scotland where would you take them that has wow factor cos i aint seen it and ive looked for it.

I Guess that depends on what you define as wow factor.

West coast has some nice spots

Plenty places mate - Skye (Glenbrittle is awesome), Torridon, Glencoe, Bealach Na Ba At Applecross to name a few.

2 places i liked.Three Lochs Run Motorbike Route Map i like this view the best large valley with meggethead reservoir used for practicing dam busting by dropping the bouncing bomb!!!!!

i also like the run through this valley very scenic its abington to mennock it take you up to the highest village and pub in scotland Wanlockhead and Lead hills which has the highest rail track in the uk.

A drive through Rannoch Moor up through Glencoe is pretty special.

Skye is a very pretty place.Fort William with Ben Nevis in the background.Aberfoyle a short drive from Glasgow.Spoilt for choice!!
It does rain however and beware of the midges in summer.Great picture

And some people say that places from the other side of the channel more beautiful, thats true and Scotland is a beautiful country too.

The combination of where it is on earth and lots of clouds = good skies.

Lived in Engerland for 20 years and didn't really see much heavenly wonders - since moving to Scotland there's not a week goes by when there's not a "good" sky !
