Has anyone done an off road experience day recently and can recommend somewhere in the South East/South West or Wales.

It's my Brothers 40th this month and I'm going to get us both on one of these. Ideally i'd have liked to do the Land Rover one at Eastnor but it's mega bucks.

I'd like to pay less than £300 for both of us, so far i'm liking either the Humvee one at True Grip in Kent - something different and a couple of hours which isn't bad for one of these sorts of "days".

The other one I quite like the look of is Whitecliff Off Road nr Gloucs.

We did a Thruxton supercar day for his 30th which we both found rushed and underwhelming (especially the F355) but really enjoyed driving the Sports 2000 race car for a few laps. That was about £250 each and was over in a flash.

He paid for us to do the Silverstone Rally course in MkII escorts for my 30th which was much cheaper and was a blast. Loads of time in the cars and such good fun.

Any ideas or past experience doing one of these 4x4 off road days would be more than welcome.

I've thought of maybe a quad bike day too
