BBC World or CNN
I have two English language news options here, BBC World or CNN.
I'm well used to the 'dumbing down' that the Americans employ in their news
Tonight the BBC got in on the act
Report on the Japanese economy;
Reporter :"Year on year to February Japanese manufacturing output has fallen by 38%, that's more than a third"
Well thank you Einstein

Don't worry, we also have to suffer it from the normal Beeb news. It drives me insane but not quite as insane as the way in which they have to show you a small piece library footage of everything they talk about
News reader talks about schools, you get some library footage of kids in a school, news reader talks about milk, you get some library footage of a pint of milk, news reader talks about a lump of wood, you get some library footage of a lump of wood. I KNOW what all these things are, I don't need to be shown some blooming library footage
Grrr...
