It was very good indeed. One of the best thought-out and implemented stories I've viewed in a long time.
Any sci-fi geek who hasn't seen it, MUST. Even Wifey, who normally hates this type of thing, at the end was getting in to it

The final episode of Enterprise on the other hand was the biggest con of all time. So, so, so flawed!!!

Fantastic ending. Edge of the seat stuff for half the episodes and lump in my throat for the other half.
I really liked Dean Stockwell's dead pan baddie character.

they did leave it widely open though for another programme to be made, you actually didn't see the Cylon base actually being completely destroyed and they gave the Centurians the base ship to do whatever they wanted.

I did watch some of the finale, but as I've not watched the series, it didn't make too much sense to me. I assumed that Hera was somewhat important, but not exactly why.
I still haven't seen the final Atlantis yet. Oh and did whatever channel showing BSG also show the teaser for Stargate Universe? If not, it's up on Gateworld. It might be of interest to SG fans. It does look a lot darker than the SG we've had before, which would be good.
Why do I have the desire to listen to some Jimi Hendrix all of a sudden?

not sure about that stargate universe
Seems like they are on a ship that the have no control over jumping from one galaxy to another.
Got a feeling every week will be a case of them visiting a planet then racing back to the ship with seconds to spare before it jumps again.

From what I've read, it's an ancient ship, whose mission was to seed the galaxy with stargates. I think your feeling is pretty spot on as well, but hopefully we'll be proved wrong and it might be better than it sounds.

I was a bit disappointed by the end. It seemed a bit daft, if they had integrated with early humans it would have had a much bigger effect.
And what was going on with Cara Thrace? All a bit silly really. Shame as the 90 minutes up to that point was very good.

Yes, there are webisodes. have a look here. Having a quick read, the "resistance" ones are not on the R2 dvd, but are on the R1 dvd.
The razor ones are on the Razor DVD.
The face of the enemy ones are more than likely to appear on the Season 4 DVD.

Theres also going to be an extended version of the last episodes coming out on DVD with added bits and pieces i believe. Liked the cameo apearance of Ron D Moore (The writer) as well. Overall a very good show, luckily they didn'r follow the Galactica 80 show when they got to earth.

End was interesting actually if you have seen Earth 2 series in the past, BSG kind of ends where E2 kicks off as a series i.e. humans trying to survive on a new earth.
Anyone remembe "Space: Above & Beyond" - looks cheesy now but was a gem on TV until the show got canned (like many these days)

IT's the whole god, angels & demons, the devil concepts in BSG - She died on the planet for real but came back as a ghost to ensure people go to their destination so she was some kind of ghost/angel or some isht but yeah could have been done better... with loads of explosions, special effects and an epic battle over a can of coca cola

Decent Sci-Fi always seems to get the chop because fat yanks love reality style stuff more than decent sci-fi, perfect example, Firefly. *Sigh* it's all down to the deeply flawed neilsen rating system.
