Thought I'd share my Tesco Direct story as its Friday and I have nothing to do!
Ordered an LG 42" TV through them about a month ago and noticed it had developed a flashing white and green pixel. It wasn't that big but it was in the middle of the screen so we noticed it all the time.
Anyways phoned them up, told they wouldn't refund or replace as not classed as a fault.
Anyways sent off an e-mail to the CEO and customer services and got an e-mail back saying a refund would be arranged. E-mailed them back and asked if the TV could be replaced rather than refunded. They said thats fine and it will be delivered this coming Monday.
Just got an e-mail saying they have refunded me the money for the tv

Sounds familiar
At least you didn't get it from Currys and yes you've had a result as a refund is a much better deal as you can scrap the sh*tty LG and put the money towards a proper telly
