Default Judas Priest & Co.

Went to see Judas Priest, Megadeth and Testament play last nite, great show!

Priest and Megadeth really put on a show, and especially Priest really went for it!

Makes you wonder how these 60 year old guys keep it going?

Great night!

Cocaine

Edited to add that I just offended 2 of my colleagues who are off to see Metallica next week.

I mentioned that I used to be really into them but something happened that put me off them:

What was that they asked?

My 14th birthday

Disclaimer for all ageing metalheads: Kill em all, Ride the lightning, Master of Puppets were all fine albums in their time (and still are)

Megadeth knows no age limit.... As for Rob Halford, he is a living legend! I'm more into protest the hero, Propagandhi etc these days but I love a bit of metal too.

They both really put on a show, it is good to see that they dont ***** out like most of these other "musicians" that are out there.

Saw Priest, Testament, Megadeth at Wembley in February. Not used to seeing these acts play in stadium venues!

Testament - great. The best old thrash band still going. They're playing the first two albums in entirety at a London gig next week.

Megadeth - totally uninspiring, but no surprise. Mustaine is just going through the motions. Their last good album was Rust In Peace. Still, they're a 1000 times better than anything Metallica will ever do now - their last good one was ...And Justice For All in my opinion. They were my fave band as a kid, but since the black album I've hated them with a passion!

And Priest delivered a killer old school heavy metal show, very few bands of that era still do it!!!

I saw all 3 at the O2 arena in Dublin .

Megadeth were musically very good but didn't do much to get the crowd going

loved Judas priest ! Great gig !

Never a fan of Priest or Megadeth although I do like the odd tune they have done. Testament were a big fave of mine esepcially The Legacy album

As for Metallica, loved up to Black, and like the Symphony one too, the later stuff is gash.

Listening to my current fave track at the mo, Spieluhr (Rammstein)
