Default Forthcoming wedding at Leez Priory

Well, I suppose it had to come sometime. I'm finally getting married at the grand old age of 36 in a few weeks. The deed will be done in a few weeks time. Has anyone got married before at the Leez Priory manor house near Chelmsford? Had a pre wedding visit with the planner, but all the extra tips help for a smooth day

The important stuff like the stag weekend shirts have been done.

I got married at Leez Priory (the day before the Millennium), you should have an organiser as part of the package.

It all went really well for me, a day I'll never forget.... or stop paying for

Good luck

Are you having the ceremony in the tower, good luck if you have any old people

We commissioned a local artist to paint us an oil painting of the tower afterwards

We're getting married in the coach house, then across to the Great hall for the breakfast. We've got an organiser as part of the deal, quite handy. Are they as good on the day as they are beforehand?

In the brochure we have, IIRC they do have portraits of various aspects of the house.

So you got lumbered with paying as well! I have got to pay for ours too. So much for the Father of the bride paying for everything! Although I must say I got a very very good deal for the day!

bar shuts at 12 which was a bit disapointing, the croquet set has seen better times but is good fun when pissed.
Overall not a bad venue and well organised but definitely milking the wedding industry
