Short Honeymoon breaks

Short Honeymoon breaks
Long story short, want to plan suprise Honeymoon, Mrs wont go away for more that 3 or 4 nights without our daughter, i think honeymoon should just be us 2 Budget of around £1000 not including spending money.
Getting married at the end of Nov so its either somewhere freezing cold with snow, or hot. Got to be a fairly nice hotel so the ideas ive had already are
Iceland
New York
Monaco
Lapland
Sharm El Sheik
Las Vegas
Luxury Canary Islands
Dubai (although already been there before)
At the moment Monaco or Iceland are my favorites - anybody been? Is it really horribly expensive? i.e - £10 for a coffee?
Any other recommendations?

Been to Monaco quite a few times. Check out either Cresta holidays or monte-carlohotels.com.
Both these will do a 3-4 night break in really good hotels inc free helicopter transfer for around £250 each.
Cresta will do flights as well but MCH you need to book your own. BA and Sleazyjet both fly to Nice with EJ prices from around £50 return in Nov.
Prices can be very high if you want to eat in Michelin * type places though around the harbour is much cheaper ( 3 courses £25+ ) and a visit to stars n bars is a must as well.

I've been to Iceland twice and it is more expensive but not as bad as people make out. I'm not a mad drinker so that helps as well.
Flights are dirt cheap at the mo, I got a mailshot today funnily enough.
Get a package, plan a couple of excursions and eat sensibly, no probs for £1000.
I'd go back in a flash but the previous two times I've been was with two different exes and my mrs isn't that keen on retracing steps had with other women!
