Early heads up for a late night.
For those of you night owls, or if you're working nights, another triumph of grunt over gravity is coming up.

Launch Site: Kennedy Space Center - Launch Pad 39A
Launch Time: 9:20 p.m. EDT
Description: Space shuttle Discovery launching on assembly flight 15A, will deliver the fourth starboard truss segment to the International Space Station.
Nasa TV NASA - NASA TV will broadcast the launch live. Launch is scheduled for 01:20 UTC Thursday morning.

I saw the shuttle take off last year whilst on a cruise ship.
We had left port canaveral and the shuttle passed over the ship at 2am local time.
Amazing sight to see.
TV does it no justice - in real life you actually see how fast it goes, and how long that Flame out the back is.
I heard some noise, but was quite a distance away still.
