Tom Brewer; scooby driver took his own life so very sad
Just thought i'd pop a post up, not sure if anyone here knew Tom Brewer, he was from Dunstable but lived in MK , he took his own life last friday, absolutly sad and shocking news to all who knew him!
Tom drove a black 53 plate Wrx Sti, he lived in Emerson Valley , but had recently spilt from his parnter ,
Tom had a little girl aged 4 named Ellie, our thoughts go out to his family and close friends at the tragic time.
Such a sad loss of a true gentleman who had a heart of gold, and a most amazing sense of humour!

I feel sorry for his daughter and family, they now have to live with his absolute selfish act for the rest of there lives, a true gent he is not due to the fact that he held no regard for others well being.

Didnt know the bloke but I feel for his family who must be utterly devestated. Seen the damage a suicide does to a family at close hand and its not nice. Pity he felt the need to kill himself and not seek help.

Excactly, he was so well loved by his close friends and family, that it is a shame that he didnt ask for help! no one know he was even so down! he gave no indication to what he was gonna do, but must have felt pretty low to do what he did at that moment in time!

As they say it's not the ones who talk about doing it that you have to worry about.
I have known several people who have done the same thing, and everyone said that there was no inclination that they felt that way. They appeared happy and content to all who knew them.

That is a shame, its easy to blame the guy, but believe me suicide is not the easy way out. He must have been very very low. I feel so sorry that he felt that his only option was to take his own life. Its a sad loss for all.

Folks, while I also disagree with Dedraters comments could we not turn this into a thread personally attacking him?
I knew a young girl who took her own life and the gap it left in a LOT of lives (an entire college shut for the day) was unbelievable. She brought a great deal of joy to so many other people but was so low herself. That you can see no escape without ending everything must be a terrible place to be and so lonely.
My heartfelt thoughts are with those left behind.

Can't say I knew him , or even of him, but any untimely death is tragic regardless of the circumstances. Dealing with death is just as hard and I hope that his family get all the support they need so that this does not become an even worse tragedy.
My deepest sympathy for the family.

What a sad tradegy - especially to leave a four year old.
Unfortunately some people are too proud to ask for help.
We have known two people over the years to end their own lives - both because they couldn't face rejection - where ever it came from.
I also believe we will sadly see much more of this in the coming months - especially with job losses & rising debt.
Hopefully we can all be a little more aware of those around us, instead of bickering & sniping at every opputunity.
May he be at peace now.

Terrible news mate Seems to be more common in men for some reason
I know 2 people that have commited suicide in the last 6 weeks, one was the result of losing their partner, the other had just had enough and ended it all
Its hard to think of things to say in the face of such disbelief, really sad when people cant talk about their problems and end there life, without telling a soul, forcing the ones they leave behind to pick up the peices

Sad loss, and some sad responses.
I've been close to that point, but who would look after my dog?
Sounds flippant, but that was all I had to make me fight my way back.
Nothing anyone can say at the time, will make the slightest difference.
dunx
P.S. Don't worry about me, I'm Scoob'd now.
