Default Oldest driver?

Who's the oldest current driver in your family? I have a grandfather-in-law who will be 95 this Easter and still pootles about in his big 1984 Volvo 240 automatic. I believe he is the second-longest serving continual member of his breakdown service (AA or RAC, I can't remember which).

He doesn't do a lot of miles each year, but unlike some much younger drivers, I feel safe enough being driven around by him. But maybe that's just thanks to the Swedish tank he drives!

Also I wonder who is the UK's oldest Subaru driver? I bet there's some 90-something ex-farmer who still drives his/her (t)rusty 20 year old Legacy out there!

My grandad still cruises the streets in a K reg 1.1 Metro, he drives very little and avoids busy times but he is still very alert and very cautious, he is aware of his advancing years and just tries to keep out of everyones way and avoid confrontation.

My next-door neighbour is 90, and still drives his Merc like it was the tank he commanded in WWII. Drove into town with him the other day - never again!

I can remember being in the car with my uncle (85) and whilst going around a corner in his Rover 200 he decided to lift the handbrake to slow himself down a bit. I've never been so scared in my car before than i was then
