I remember going to the Swadlincote ski centre one time with a bunch from work (old place) and me and this girl went on the toboggan run in a two man bob, her in front me tucked in behind.
The only thing is: it had been raining and the metal track was wet. The attendants 'forgot' to mention that the brakes utterly fail to work when it's wet.
I remember three things.
Me being abso-fooking-lutely terrified as we simply could NOT stop or slow down
Me being completely deafened 'cos Kerry (the girl) was screaming like a flaming banshee
Me frantically trying to hide a chubby 'cos Kerry was very cute!

there is one here in austria.
YouTube - Toboggan Ride in St Johann, Austria
its a place called st johann in tyrol.
it looks dead slow on the video, but the last time i went on it you did leave the track in a few parts.
equally scary is the chairlift going up, very basic, and bloody high up.
we used to get that up in the morning, and have aslow winding walk back stopping for a few huberbrau's and zipfers it was beautiful

I've been on a very similar one in Thredbo in Australia's White Mountains
The whole way down I was laughing like a fool, just like the guy in the vid actually

There is also the one at The Great Orme in Llandudno. Its not bad if you can make sure the grannies and kids are not in front of you.
