Bernie Ecclestone & Madonna...
... get it on according to a BBC report!
Full report here;
BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Formula One | F1 boss wants Massa to win title
Seems he's in bed with Ferrari too, allegedly etc etc
Ecclestone denied he was in Madonna to smooth tensions with Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo, who has been critical of the way F1 is being run.

All f1 drivers are seriously good drives, no questions asked, but in the grand scheme of f1 i think massa is a poor driver and while young i think hamilton is a very good driver, but he lacks experiance.
shall explain y.
as said all the drivers in f1 are good drivers, in fact fantastic drivers, the best of the best, so thats a given, put them behind a wheel and they will drive a 1.0 corsa faster round a track than most of us will be able to drive a supercar.
But, F1 is, suposedly the top 20 drivers in the world.
so if you compare hamilton to massa.
Massa won more, i think mostly due to experiance. Hamilton lost points through his own stupidity so lacks it. But when conditions got bad, hamilton just drove away from the whole field. Made the whole field look like muppets in wet races, look at alonso and hamilton last year (can't remember which race, was the very wet race?) alonso dropped it big stylee, yet hamilton didn't, everytime it starts to rain hamilton manages to keep going, longer and faster than the whole field. Then silverston this year, massa dropped it 5 times in one race.
they can all drive a f1 car round a track, but bad conditions sort the men from the boys, thats where massa struggles and hamilton doesn't
once hamiltons decisions making is sorted i don't think theres anyone out there who will be bale to match him, at least from the pack of current drivers
shall explain y.

Completely agree - see Senna and Scumacher in the wet.

All in all, and all being equal (points dropped by driver not team) Massa should have been Champion last season.

It doesn't matter, as the F1 championships (Driver and otherwise) are all about the whole team. If you've got good both, then you're laughing. If one of those elements is wrong, or fails to step up to the plate, then they're going to be unsuccessful.
Ferrari made some HUMDINGERS of errors this year. The lollipop issue was just arrogance on someone's behalf. As soon as it wasn't working, they should have binned it.
I'm an F1 fan, not a teamster. The whole season was pretty scrappy on all players' accounts.
The winning team/driver was the one that made the least mistakes imho. It just so happens that the mistake aspect could be covered by the fact that the top few teams are light-years ahead in performance, so it didn't make any difference.
All IMHO, of course

after reading that article if Massa does win the championship this year, i'd say "Fix" regardless of what happens. If the top man in F1 says "I want..." and it happens then something smells fishy.
he's the boss of F1 and he should not side with one team, one driver or one anything for that matter in fact he shouldnt even voice his opinion publically even if he has one!. he should shut his gob and get on with running f1. if he thinks the f1 champion should be the man who has wins the most races then dont have points, just wins!

Yes it was easy to see the joke when you read the news item, but it's a good excuse to have a pop at the weasel Ecclestone.
Creepy little git he is.
And I'm not jealous of his wealth.
Well allright I am. But he's still a Weasel.
As far as Hamilton v Massa goes, in the dry there's not much to choose, it would be down to the car set up and pit crew performance to make a significant difference between them.
But as already said, in the wet Hamilton's untouchable.
Massa to win? Not if I could help it.
Whatever happened to good old fashioned patriotism? What could be a better result for us Brits than a British driver winning the world title in a British car.
Bernie should keep his gob shut. He has a vested interest and as such should not be promoting any driver. Supporting Massa is akin to wishing Germany to beat England in the world cup.
It's time Bernie's collostomy bag was emptied 'cos he's full up!
Just my opion of course.
