Default paypal dispute

Hi all,
Some help with paypal please. I cant find the answer on their website.

I sold a item on ebay a few weeks back.
Out of the blue on Sunday the buyer filed a dispute saying the item was not as described and asked for a refund of £14.98. They only paid £9.98 delivered which puzzled me. So, I looked through their feedback and saw that they brought another item for 14.98 just after they brought my item (they have only brought a handfull of items in the past few months).
My £9.98 has been taken off me and put into "holding".
I have responded to the dispute in the resolution centre explaining that i think they have the wrong guy. They havnt responded yet. In paypal rules it says that if neither of us excalate the claim in 20 days then the dispute is automatically closed. My question is wen the dispute is automatically closed who gets the £9.98. Me or the buyer?

Thanks

Pretty sure that there is only a certain amount of time before it closes automatically if not escalated.

Could they want £14.98 to cover their costs of sending the item back to you ?
